I washed my sheets and towels today and when I took them out of the dryer I wanted to cry (happy tears). They smelled like my Grandma Murdocks house. It was such a comfort! It was like I was on a laundry commercial, I couldn't stop smelling my towels! I called my Grandma and told her how much I love her!!! Then the tears really started to flow!!! My grandparents are both such GREAT examples to me. My Grandma is my hero! She is everything I hope to be as a mother, wife, church member and person in general. She is so kind, caring, nurturing and a good cook! :) I can't even imagine being a new mother and having my husband shipped off to war!!! She has had to make so many sacrifices, and I'm sure she did them without complaining! I hope that I can strive to be like her! I Love You Grandma!!!!

Awww, that is precious! Funny how smells totally take us back. I think its great that you tell your grandma how much you love and appreciate her!

It makes me want to cry just thinking about her:) She and grandpa really are special people we are so lucky to have them as grandparents!

It's funny how something that seems so unimportant, ends up being part of the best memories.
I love grandma and grandpa too, their example of faith, sacrifice, hard work, and love, has taught me so much. If I can grow up to be just like them, then I will be satisfied.
