A Blonde Moment

Yesterday I was making pizza dough in my Kitchen Aid mixer and I had such a blonde moment. The flour wasn't getting mixed in like it should, so I tried to push the flour down with my hand. **STUPID** Next thing I know my hand gets crushed between the massive dough hook and the metal bowl. When I yanked my hand out of the bowl I couldn't help but laugh a little because I felt so dumb. Then, the pain in my hand kicked in... When I looked at it, it had already swelled up and was turning blue right away.

I went to the doctor today to get an X-Ray done. Nothing was broken, but I have to keep it in a splint for the next few days. Luckily, I have the best husband in the whole world!!! He has taken such good care of me since since I only have one free hand. He helped me get ready this morning to go to the doctor. And when he came home from work, he brought me flowers, chocolates and my favorite thing... the new Little Mermaid DVD (Ariel's Beginning). YAY!!! I LOVE The Little Mermaid! You're the best, honey!

Brooke's Wedding

My friends Brooke and Steve finally got married yesterday. It was a beautiful cerimony at the Bountiful Temple. They make such a cute couple and I know they're going to be so HAPPY!! Brooke and I always talked about how things would go on our wedding days, and I think that Brooke's wedding was just what she always wanted!

It was also Joyce's 23rd birthday yesterday. Happy Birthday Joyce!! I hope you had a great birthday!
Bryce and Nic went through the reception line together and Steve's mom thought that they were gay. HAHA!!! I'm not sure if it was b/c they were dressed the same or what. Although, that picture of them doesn't help their case. :)

My sweet mom made both mine and Joyce's bridesmaids dresses. She did such a good job!! Thanks mom for working so hard, they looked great!!

Last night I had a girl's night with my good friends Erin, Brittany and my soon to be (in a week!)sister-in-law, Ashleigh. We had dinner at The Dodo. And if you've never been there you should go. It is a sandwich place down at the Gateway and it's soooo good!!! We walked around the stores before Mama Mia started. I just loved this movie!!! Although I couldn't help but laugh when Pierce Brosnan starts to sing. It was such a fun movie!! I'm going to go get the soundtrack because I can't stop singing the songs. I had so much fun and I'm glad I've got such good girl friends to go and do these types of things with!!

Panguitch

Last Friday, Bryce and I went to a little town called Panguitch, Utah for a little get away with our friends Nic, Joyce, Adam and Ana. Joyce is from Panguitch, and has a cabin up at the lake which is where we stayed. On Saturday, we went back down to town and walked around the little shops on Main Street. We had so much fun just goofing around and taking random pictures. On Saturday night Joyce's sweet family came up to the cabin and made us all a fantastic dutch oven dinner. It was so YUMMY!!! We have such good friends and it was nice to have such a fun and cheap get away!

We went to the old fire station and I found this old sign and I thought it was cool, even though I have no idea what it means. :)
