We got this cake stand two years ago as a wedding gift from some people that worked for Bryce. It took all I had to get Bryce to let us keep it. I told him that of coarse we would use it! (Knowing full well that I had no idea what I would ever use it for.) I finally thought that I would get it out and bake a cake so I could prove to Bryce that we could use it. I had never tried to bake a two layered cake, but I think it turned out pretty good. And it's yummy too!

Mmmm. Your cake looks delicious! And that's such a pretty, elegant cake stand. Way to be a Murdock! :) I still don't know yet if I'll be able to go to the reunion. It all depends on if I have a job by then or not. I'm thinking I will most likely be there- I want to go so bad! The only bad thing is that Jake won't be able to go- he has school and work. Hopefully I'll get to see you there! If not, I'll get to see you guys when you come down here for Bryce's business trip. That will be so fun if we can get together!
